Quick answer: how to open multiple URLs at once

To open multiple URLs at once, paste your links (one per line, or a whole block of text) into the tool above, tick the cleaning options you want, then click Open all. If your browser blocks some tabs, allow pop-ups for this site or use Open one at a time. The list is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.

  • Paste URLs one per line, or paste any text and extract the links
  • Adds https:// to bare domains such as example.com
  • Strips tracking parameters (utm_*, fbclid, gclid and more) and URL fragments
  • Dedupe and sort alphabetically, filter by text or domain
  • Open all in one click, or step through one at a time to avoid pop-up blocks
  • Free, no sign-up, processed in your browser

How to open many links at once in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Paste your URLs or text

One URL per line, or paste a whole document. The tool scans for http and https links and for bare domains.

  2. 2

    Clean and filter

Strip tracking parameters, drop fragments, dedupe, sort alphabetically or filter by domain. Each option is a checkbox.

  3. 3

    Open or copy

Click Open all to launch every tab, or Open one at a time to step through them. Copy the cleaned list to use anywhere else.

Features of this free bulk URL opener

  • Extract URLs from any text

Paste a document, chat log, email or CSV. The tool pulls out every http and https link and lists them one per row.

  • Bare domain support

Typing example.com works. The tool adds https:// when a token looks like a domain, and you can switch this off.

  • Strip tracking parameters

Remove utm_*, fbclid, gclid, msclkid and other common tracking parameters from every URL in one click.

  • Remove URL fragments

Drop the #section part so two links to the same page collapse into one, handy for documentation pages.

  • Dedupe and sort

Remove duplicate URLs and sort the list alphabetically so the order you open tabs in is predictable.

  • Filter by text or domain

Find every URL from a specific site or containing a word. The list and the open actions follow the filter.

  • Open all or one at a time

Open every URL in one click, or step through them one by one so pop-up blockers are less likely to interfere.

  • Your list stays in your browser

The list is parsed and displayed in your browser tab. It is not sent to a server by the tool.

What people use a multiple URL opener for

  • Open search results in batches

Copy a page of search results, paste them here and open the links in one go instead of middle-clicking twenty times.

  • Follow links from a document

Paste a spec, a PR description or a research paper. Every referenced link lands in the list, ready to open.

  • Clean a marketing list

Strip utm_source, utm_medium and campaign parameters from a list of URLs before sharing or archiving them.

  • Compare a batch of pages

Open a set of documentation pages or product pages in tabs side by side for reference.

  • Check a list of short links

Open each shortened URL to see where it goes. Useful when reviewing links before a launch.

  • Work through a reading or shopping list

Collect links from a wishlist, chat or notes and open them when you are ready to compare or read.

What works well and what to keep in mind

What works well

  • Pasting a list of links, or a whole document, and opening them in tabs
  • Cleaning a list: add https://, strip tracking, drop fragments, dedupe, sort, filter
  • Open one at a time for long lists, since each tab comes from its own click
  • Copying the cleaned list to use anywhere else

What to keep in mind

  • Browsers limit how many tabs one click can open. You may need to allow pop-ups for this site
  • Only http and https links open in a tab. Other schemes such as mailto or ftp are listed as invalid
  • The tool opens links, it does not check whether a link works or is safe
  • It is a manual tool, not a crawler or automation script

Bulk URL opener FAQ

How do I open multiple URLs at once?

Paste your links into the tool, one per line or inside any block of text, choose your cleaning options and click Open all. Each link opens in a new browser tab.

How do I open multiple links from a list of URLs in Chrome?

Paste the list into the tool and click Open all. If Chrome blocks some tabs, click the pop-up blocked icon in the address bar and allow pop-ups for this site, or use Open one at a time. The tool works the same way in Firefox, Edge and Safari.

Is my list of URLs uploaded to a server?

No. The tool runs in JavaScript in your browser tab. The list is parsed, cleaned and displayed on your device and is not sent to a server by the tool. You can confirm this by watching the network tab in your browser tools.

Why does my browser block some of the tabs?

Browsers block pop-ups by default and usually allow only what comes from a direct click. If only some tabs open, allow pop-ups for this site and try again, or use Open one at a time so each tab comes from its own click.

What does Open one at a time do?

It opens the first valid URL and then shows a Next button. Each click opens one more tab. Because every tab comes from its own click, pop-up blockers are less likely to stop it. Use Stop to end the session.

How many URLs can I open at once?

The tool has no fixed limit, but your browser does. Browsers differ in how many tabs they allow from one click, and a very large number of tabs can slow your computer. For long lists use Open one at a time.

How do I remove UTM parameters from a list of URLs?

Paste the list and switch on Strip tracking parameters. The utm_* parameters and other common trackers such as fbclid and gclid are removed from every URL, and you can copy the cleaned list.

What is a tracking parameter?

A tracking parameter is extra text added to a URL to show where a click came from, for example utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, fbclid or gclid. Removing them normally leaves the same destination page.

Does stripping tracking parameters break the link?

It should not. Only known tracking parameters are removed. The path and any other query parameters stay, so the link normally still goes to the same page. Check any link that must keep a parameter to work.

How do I extract URLs from text?

Paste the text, such as an email, document or chat log, into the tool. It finds the http and https links, including links inside Markdown, and lists them one per row.

Does it find URLs without http or https?

Yes, if they look like a domain. With Add https:// to bare domains switched on, example.com is treated as https://example.com. If it is switched off, only URLs that already have a scheme are parsed.

Can I open ftp:// or mailto: links?

No. Only http:// and https:// URLs open in a tab. Other schemes are shown as invalid so you can see they were found but will not be opened.

Does dedupe compare the full URL or just the host?

It compares the full URL after the other cleaning options. Two links to the same page with different tracking parameters become the same URL once you strip tracking, and dedupe then removes the duplicate.

Does sorting change the order tabs open in?

Yes. Open all and Open one at a time both follow the current list order, so sorting gives you a stable order.

Can I download the list as a file?

Not directly. Use the copy button to copy the cleaned list and paste it into any text editor or spreadsheet.

Is it safe to open a list of unknown links?

The tool does not check links for safety. If a list comes from an unknown source, review the domains first, use the domain filter and avoid opening links you do not recognise.

Can I use this for scraping or automation?

No. This is a manual tool that asks your browser to open tabs, as if you had typed each address yourself. For automation use a script or a headless browser such as Playwright or Puppeteer.

Privacy note

There is no upload step. The URL list is parsed, cleaned and displayed in your browser tab. When you click Open all, the tool asks your browser to open each address, as if you had typed it yourself, so the sites you open will see your visit as normal. You can watch the network tab in your browser tools to confirm the tool does not send your list anywhere. Read our Privacy Policy.
