Everything you get for free

  • 100% secure, nothing uploaded

Merging happens in your browser using pdf-lib. Your contracts, invoices and reports never touch a server.

  • No file size limit

The only limit is your device memory. Free tools cap at 5MB and then paywall you, we do not.

  • Unlimited files at once

Merge 2 PDFs or 200. No per-day or per-hour limit, unlike iLovePDF and Smallpdf.

  • Reorder before merging

Use the up and down arrows on each file to set the exact page order.

  • No sign-up, no email, no watermark

Open, add files, merge, download. No account, no confirmation email, no watermark on the result.

  • Works offline

Once the page has loaded you can switch off WiFi and the tool still works. Everything runs locally.

What people use it for

  • Combine invoices

Turn a month of invoices into one PDF for your accountant. Safe for financial data.

  • Merge scanned documents

Scanned a 10-page contract in pieces? Drop all 10 in and get one clean PDF.

  • Assemble a portfolio

Combine CV, cover letter and references into one PDF for a job application.

  • Merge bank statements

One PDF for tax season instead of twelve separate statements.

  • Study notes

Combine chapter PDFs into a single document for one continuous read.

  • Legal bundle

Assemble exhibits, briefs and appendices into one filing-ready PDF.

Questions people ask

Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?

No. Merging happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your files never leave your device, we cannot see them even if we wanted to.

Is it really 100% secure?

Yes. There is no upload step, no server processing, no temporary storage. Open your browser network tab while you merge, you will not see your PDF being sent anywhere.

Do you store my PDFs?

No. We cannot, the file never leaves your browser. Nothing is retained on any server.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

No fixed limit. Modern phones merge 20 to 30 typical PDFs comfortably; desktops handle 100 or more.

Is there a file size limit?

No. iLovePDF caps free users at 5MB and Smallpdf at 2 files per hour. We impose no limit.

Does merging preserve PDF quality?

Yes, exactly. Pages are copied as-is. Text stays text, images stay at original quality.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. Unlock the PDF first with our Unlock PDF tool, then merge.

Can I reorder the PDFs before merging?

Yes. Use the up and down arrows on each file card to set the exact order.

What output do I get?

A standard PDF file. It opens in every PDF reader: Adobe, Preview, Chrome, Firefox, mobile apps.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android both work. No app needed.

Do I need internet after the page loads?

No. Once the page has cached pdf-lib, you can switch off WiFi and the merge still works.

Is there a daily limit?

No. Merge as many PDFs as you need, as many times as you want.

100% secure, nothing stored

Your PDF is processed entirely in your browser. There is no upload step, no temporary server-side storage, no database, no retention. When you close the tab, every trace is gone. To verify: open your browser developer tools, go to the Network tab, then merge a PDF, you will not see any request carrying your file. This is verifiable, not a marketing claim. Privacy section.
