Privacy Policy

The short version: your files, text, dates and keywords stay on your device. No accounts, no uploads, no tracking, no data sales.
1. Summary
ToolDeck is built so that your files, text, dates and keyword lists never leave your device. We do not run servers that receive your data. We do not require an account. We do not sell or share personal data.
2. What we collect
Almost nothing. We do not collect names, email addresses, file contents, or birthdates. When you use a tool, the entire computation runs inside your browser. The only data that may leave your device is standard server log information handled by our hosting provider (Vercel). See section 4.
3. What we do NOT collect
We do not collect: your files (images, PDFs, videos), your text (word counts, case changes, CSV keywords), your birthdate or age calculations, your QR code content (WhatsApp numbers, WiFi passwords, vCards), your IP address for tracking purposes, your device fingerprint, or your browsing history across other sites.
4. Hosting and server logs
ToolDeck is served by Vercel, a widely used hosting platform. Like virtually all web hosts, Vercel records standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp, requested URL) for security, abuse prevention and performance. These logs are retained according to Vercel's own privacy policy. ToolDeck does not access or use these logs for advertising or profiling.
5. Local storage in your browser
Some tools save your draft locally. For example, the Word Counter remembers the text you were typing, and the Age Calculator remembers your birthdate. This uses the browser's localStorage API, which stays on your device and is never transmitted. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site, or by clicking the "Clear" button inside the tool.
7. Third-party services
Google Fonts is loaded for typography (Inter, Sora). This is a common practice and Google's own privacy policy applies to that request. No other third-party scripts, trackers, ad networks or analytics services are loaded unless explicitly stated on a specific tool page.
8. Advertising
ToolDeck may display advertising to cover hosting costs. If and when ads are shown, they will be clearly labelled and will never lock access to a tool or alter your output. Any ad network we use in the future will be named here with a link to its privacy policy.
9. Children's privacy
ToolDeck is safe for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There is no account system, so no age data is ever collected.
10. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to delete, export or correct. If you want to clear locally saved drafts, clear your browser storage for this domain. If you have questions about GDPR, CCPA or other privacy regulations, contact us. We respond within 2 business days.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will not add data collection retroactively without telling you.
