⚠️ Performance Warning
- If you don't have a graphics card (GPU), rendering will be slow. A GPU finishes short clips in seconds, a CPU can take several minutes.
- Please upload large files (close to 300 MB) one by one or in very small batches.
- Do not enhance 4K resolution for all 10 files at once. Try batches of 2 to 5 files for 4K.
- Close all other tabs and software before you start.
- Mobile devices are significantly slower than laptops and desktop PCs.
- 100% Secure

- Runs in Browser
- No Watermark
How do I unblur a video for free?
To fix a blurry video, drop it into the tool above. Our AI model (WebSR) analyzes each frame to detect soft edges, out-of-focus areas, and compression artifacts. It reconstructs sharp details and upscales the video by 2x. It runs locally on your GPU, so nothing is uploaded and no watermark is added.

How to fix a blurry video in 3 steps
- 1
Upload your blurry video
Drop your MP4, WebM, or MOV file into the tool. It is processed locally in your browser and never sent to a server.
- 2
AI analyzes and deblurs
Our neural network (WebSR) scans the frames to detect blur, reconstruct sharp edges, and upscale the resolution by 2x.
- 3
Download the clear result
The fixed video is stitched back together. Download it as a clean, watermark-free MP4 or WebM.
What it can and cannot fix
An honest look at AI video deblurring so you know what to expect. It is a powerful tool, but it is not magic.
What it fixes well
- Fix out-of-focus shots and soft edges from camera lenses
- Reduce motion blur on moving subjects (up to a certain extent)
- Clean up compression artifacts that make the video look mushy
- Upscale the resolution by 2x while sharpening (e.g., 720p to 1440p)
- Restore clarity to old CCTV footage and low-quality webcams
Limitations to know
- Make a completely unrecognizable face readable (the data is simply not there)
- Fix severe motion blur where the camera was shaking violently
- Remove heavy intentional blur added in editing (like a censorship box)
- Work on live streams (it only works on saved video files)
- Recover detail from a video that is completely black or corrupted
Fix blurry video: questions people ask
Quick answers about AI deblurring, quality limits, and privacy.
How do I fix a blurry video for free?
Open the tool above, drop your blurry video, and click Start. The AI analyzes every frame to remove blur, sharpen edges, and upscale the resolution by 2x. It runs in your browser, so there is no upload, no sign-up, and no watermark.
Can AI truly unblur a video?
AI cannot invent details that were never recorded. However, our WebSR model is trained to recognize edges, shapes, and textures. It reconstructs sharpness based on what it knows, making soft, out-of-focus, or compressed video look significantly clearer and more detailed.
Does it work on motion blur?
It works best on mild motion blur and camera shake. If the subject was moving extremely fast, or the camera was panning wildly, some blur will remain. For focus blur and compression blur, the results are usually excellent.
Why is my video out of focus?
Out-of-focus video happens when the camera lens is not properly focused on the subject. The lens captures a soft, blurred image instead of sharp edges. Our AI analyzes the soft edges and mathematically reconstructs them to look sharp.
What is the difference between motion blur and focus blur?
Motion blur is caused by movement (either the subject or the camera) during the exposure. Focus blur is caused by the lens being out of focus. AI handles focus blur much better than severe motion blur.
Is it free?
Yes, 100% free. Because the AI runs entirely on your own device using WebAssembly and WebGPU, we do not pay for cloud servers. There are no limits, no hidden fees, and no account required.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The video is decoded, enhanced, and re-encoded entirely in your browser. Open your browser’s Network tab while it runs and you will see that no request carries your file.
Why does my video still look blurry after fixing?
If the source video is very low resolution (like 240p) or heavily compressed, the AI has to work with very little data. It will make it sharper and bigger, but it cannot make it look like it was recorded on a 4K camera.
What formats are supported?
MP4 and WebM are the most reliable, but most standard formats like MOV and MKV should work depending on your browser. The output is always a clean MP4 or WebM.
Can I fix a video taken from a cheap phone?
Yes. Older or cheaper phones often have soft lenses and heavy compression. Our AI is perfect for cleaning up this type of footage and making it look modern.
Does it work on old webcam footage?
Yes. Webcams often have low resolution and heavy compression. The AI can sharpen the edges and remove the blocky artifacts.
What is WebSR?
WebSR is a high-performance neural network specifically optimized to run in the browser using WebGPU. It powers our AI upscaling and deblurring.
Does deblurring add noise to the video?
Our AI is designed to sharpen edges while leaving flat areas smooth. If your video is very noisy, we recommend using our Denoise tool first, or adjusting the Denoise slider in the settings.
Can it read license plates or faces?
If the license plate or face is somewhat visible but just soft, the AI might sharpen it enough to be readable. If it is completely unrecognizable (just a blur of pixels), the AI cannot invent the text or features.
How long does it take?
On a device with a dedicated graphics card (GPU), a 1-minute video usually takes about 1 to 2 minutes. Without a GPU, it can take significantly longer because the CPU has to do the heavy lifting.
Is there a watermark on the final video?
No. We do not add any watermarks or logos. The output is completely clean.
Can I batch process?
Yes, you can queue multiple files in the tool, and it will process them one by one to prevent your browser from running out of memory.
Does it keep the audio?
Yes. The audio track is copied from the original video without re-encoding.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 300 MB and 3 minutes per file. Because AI video processing is memory-intensive, we recommend trimming your video first if it is very long.
Is it better than Topaz Video AI?
Topaz is a paid desktop app ($299). ToolDeck is free, runs in your browser, and handles 2x upscaling, deblurring, and denoising for web videos perfectly.
Can I fix a video from a security camera (CCTV)?
You can try, but keep your expectations realistic. CCTV footage is usually very low resolution and highly compressed. The AI will make it look cleaner, but it cannot turn a 240p security clip into a Hollywood movie.
Does it work on iPhone and Android browsers?
It works in modern mobile browsers, but mobile GPUs are weak. For anything longer than 30 seconds, a desktop PC is highly recommended.
