AI Video Enhancer
Instantly upscale and sharpen your videos using AI. 100% free, private, and runs entirely in your browser. No uploads, no watermarks.
- AI Super Resolution
- 100% private & local
- No watermarks
⚠️ Performance Warning
- If you don't have a graphics card (GPU), rendering will be slow. A GPU finishes short clips in seconds, a CPU can take several minutes.
- Please upload large files (close to 300 MB) one by one or in very small batches.
- Do not enhance 4K resolution for all 10 files at once. Try batches of 2 to 5 files for 4K.
- Close all other tabs and software before you start.
- Mobile devices are significantly slower than laptops and desktop PCs.
- Runs in your browser
- No upload
- No sign-up

How do I enhance a video for free?
To enhance a video, drop it into the tool above. The AI model (WebSR) analyzes each frame to remove noise, sharpen soft edges, and upscale the resolution by 2x. It runs locally on your GPU, so nothing is uploaded and no watermark is added.

How it works
- 1
Upload your video
Drag and drop your MP4, WebM, or MOV file. It never leaves your device.
- 2
AI Enhances Frames
Our AI model (WebSR) analyzes every frame to remove blur, fix noise, and upscale the resolution by 2x.
- 3
Download
The enhanced video is stitched back together and ready to download. No watermarks, no limits.
What people use it for
Revive Old Videos
Take old, low-resolution videos (like 480p or 720p) and upscale them to sharp HD.
Fix Blurry Recordings
Enhance screen recordings, webcam footage, or gameplay clips that suffer from compression blur.
Social Media Prep
Sharpen videos before uploading to Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube to look more professional.
Everything you get for free
Private & Secure
Your videos are processed locally using WebGPU. We never see your files, making it safe for personal and sensitive content.
State-of-the-Art AI
Uses WebSR, a high-performance neural upscaler, to intelligently add detail and remove compression artifacts.
No Watermarks
Unlike other free tools, we do not stamp our logo on your video. You get clean, high-quality output.
Zero Cost
Because your computer does the processing, we do not have to pay for expensive cloud GPUs. So we can offer this for free.
Cross-Platform
Works on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chromebooks. Any device with a modern browser can run it.
Automatic Downscaling
We handle resolution constraints automatically so you do not run out of memory during the upscaling process.
Why this tool is the best choice
Most video enhancers charge a monthly fee and upload your files. This one runs locally.

Video Enhancer: questions people ask
Quick answers about AI enhancement, limits, quality, and privacy.
Is this video enhancer really free?
Yes. Because the AI runs on your own computer (using WebGPU), we do not have to pay for servers. It is completely free with no limits.
Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your video files never leave your device. You can even disconnect from the internet while it processes.
How does AI video enhancement work?
We use a Super Resolution AI model (WebSR). It analyzes each frame, predicts the missing pixels, removes compression artifacts, and outputs a 2x larger, sharper image.
Why does it take so long?
Running AI on every single frame of a video is computationally heavy. A 10-second video might take a minute or two depending on your computer's GPU.
Does it keep the audio?
Yes, the browser recording pipeline captures the enhanced video with the original audio track intact.
What video formats are supported?
MP4, WebM, and MOV are the most reliable. The output is provided as an MP4 or WebM file, which is high quality and plays everywhere.
What is the difference between Video Enhancer and Video Upscaler?
The Video Upscaler lets you choose specific target resolutions (like 1080p or 4K). The Video Enhancer is a one-click tool that specifically focuses on AI sharpening, denoising, and a fixed 2x upscale.
Can I enhance a 4K video?
You can, but the tool applies a 2x multiplier, which would create an 8K file. This requires a massive amount of memory and might crash your browser. We recommend using this on 1080p or 720p footage.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, in modern mobile browsers. However, mobile devices often lack WebGPU support, meaning they will fall back to the CPU path. For anything over 30 seconds, use a desktop.
Can upscaling add detail that is not in the original video?
No. Upscaling enlarges the frame and sharpens edges, but it cannot recover detail that was never recorded. A very blurry 480p clip will look larger and cleaner, not truly high definition.
Why is my enhanced video file bigger than the original?
A 2x upscale has four times the pixels of the original frame, so the output is naturally larger. If the file is too big, run it through our Video Compressor afterwards.
What is WebSR?
WebSR is a high-performance neural network specifically optimized to run in the browser using WebGPU. It powers our AI upscaling and enhancement.
Can I enhance a video in batches?
Yes, you can queue multiple files in the tool, and it will process them one by one to prevent your browser from running out of memory.
Is there a watermark on the final video?
No. We do not add any watermarks or logos to your video. The output is completely clean.
Does it remove noise from dark videos?
Yes. The AI is trained to distinguish between real detail and random noise. It will smooth out the grain in low-light footage while keeping the edges sharp.
Can I use this for commercial projects?
Yes. We do not claim ownership of your videos. You can use the enhanced output for YouTube, clients, or commercial projects.
What happens if my browser crashes?
If your device runs out of memory, the browser tab may crash. To prevent this, try trimming your video first or processing a lower resolution.
Does it fix motion blur?
It can reduce mild motion blur and camera shake. However, if the subject was moving extremely fast, some blur will remain.
Can it make a blurry face readable?
No. If the facial features were not captured by the camera pixels, the AI cannot invent a recognizable face. It can only sharpen what is there.
Do I need to install any software?
No. It runs entirely in your web browser. There is no .exe or .dmg file to download.
How does it compare to Topaz Video AI?
Topaz is a paid desktop app ($299) that can upscale to 8K. ToolDeck is free, runs in your browser, and handles 2x upscaling, deblurring, and denoising for web videos perfectly.
Is my privacy protected?
Absolutely. Because the processing happens 100% locally on your machine, there is no server to hack, no data to leak, and no privacy risks.

Your videos never leave your device
There is no upload step and no server-side video handling. The video is decoded, enhanced, and re-encoded in your browser using WebCodecs and WebGPU. Open the browser Network tab while it runs and confirm that no request carries your file. Read how we keep it private.
