iPhone watermark remover FAQ
Quick answers about iOS compatibility, saving to Photos, privacy and file limits.
How do I remove a watermark from a video on my iPhone?
Open this page in Safari, tap "Choose Video", select your video from Photos, draw a box over the watermark with your finger, tap Remove, and save the downloaded file back to your Photos.
Do I need to download an app to remove a watermark on iPhone?
No. This tool runs entirely in Safari. You do not need to install anything from the App Store, and it uses zero storage on your phone.
Will this work on iOS 17 or iOS 18?
Yes. It works on any modern iPhone (iPhone 8 and newer) running a recent version of iOS and Safari. It does not rely on any specific iOS features, just standard web technology.
Where does the clean video save?
When you tap the download button, iOS will ask you what to do with the file. You can save it directly to your Camera Roll (Photos app) or to the Files app.
Why does the area look blurry after removal?
Because the filter fills the box by blending nearby pixels. Blur shows most on detailed backgrounds and with large boxes. Draw the box as tight as possible.
Does it keep the audio?
Yes. The audio track is copied from the original video without re-encoding.
Is this safe to use on my iPhone?
Yes. There is no app to install and no sketchy permissions. Your video never leaves your phone, so your privacy is fully protected.
What video formats are supported?
The standard iPhone video format is MOV or MP4. Both are fully supported. The output is an MP4 (H.264).
What this tool can and cannot remove
The tool uses FFmpeg's delogo filter. It fills one fixed rectangle using the pixels around it. That makes it fast, private and free, and it also sets clear limits. Check your watermark against this table before you start.
| Watermark type | Result | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Static logo in a corner | Works well | The best case. Draw a tight box around the logo and it cleans convincingly. |
| Small text overlay | Works, with caveats | Fine on plain backgrounds. On detailed backgrounds the patch can look soft or blurry. |
| Moving or bouncing watermark | Not supported | The filter fixes one box position for the whole video. Watermarks that change corner will not be removed. |
| Large object on screen | Poor | There is not enough surrounding detail to fill in a massive area convincingly. |
Tips for a cleaner result
Keep the box tight
A box that is only slightly larger than the logo gives the cleanest fill. A big box turns into a visible blur.
Zoom in if needed
If the watermark is very small, use the pinch-to-zoom gesture on your iPhone before drawing the box around it.
Screen size vs. video size
You are drawing on a small screen, but the removal happens on the full-resolution video. Try to be as precise as possible.
Check on a busy frame
Scrub to a frame with detailed background behind the logo before you commit. If it looks soft there, it will look soft everywhere.
ToolDeck vs iPhone apps
Apps require downloads, take up storage, and often ask for access to your entire photo library. ToolDeck runs entirely in Safari, so there is nothing to install and nothing to upload.
| Feature | TToolDeck | iPhone Apps |
|---|---|---|
| Requires downloading an app from App Store | No | Yes |
| Requires granting access to Photos | No | Yes |
| Your video is uploaded to a server | None | Usually yes |
| Free full-length download | Yes | Rarely |
| No sign-up needed | Yes | No |
| Uses phone storage | None | Yes (app size + cache) |

100% secure, nothing uploaded

No preview limit
Download the full video, not a 5-second preview. No credits, no account and no daily cap.
Saves directly to Photos
Once the video is ready, tap download and save it straight to your iPhone Camera Roll or Files app.
Use it on content you have the right to edit
Remove watermarks only from videos you own or have permission to modify, such as your own branding, your own exports, or footage you are licensed to edit. You are responsible for how you use the result.

Trim, compress, enhance and upscale. Nothing uploaded, ever.
Your video never leaves your device
There is no upload step and no account. The FFmpeg engine runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so your video is never sent to a server. You can confirm this in your browser's Network tab while the tool runs. Read how we keep it private.
