What is a date stamp remover?

Will it remove a running clock?
It will attempt to. However, because the numbers change every second, the filter has to blur the entire area inside the box to cover all possible numbers. The background will likely look smudged.

Because the filter fills the box by blending nearby pixels. Blur shows most on detailed backgrounds and with large boxes. Draw the box as tight as possible.

A box that is only slightly larger than the date stamp gives the cleanest fill. A big box turns into a visible blur.
