How it works
- 1
Pick a coin and a currency
Choose the crypto you want to convert and the fiat currency you want the result in. The list has sixteen coins and sixteen currencies.

- 3
Copy or compare
Click Copy result to keep the conversion, or click any row in the table to switch coins and compare values.
Everything you get for free
Live crypto prices
Pulls current prices for sixteen of the most traded coins directly from the public CoinGecko API. The rates refresh on demand, no account needed.
Sixteen fiat currencies
USD, EUR, GBP, PKR, INR, JPY, CNY, AUD, CAD, CHF, AED, SAR, TRY, BRL, ZAR and NGN. Covers the major markets and most emerging currencies that other tools skip.
Sixteen top coins
Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, BNB, Solana, XRP, Cardano, Dogecoin, TRON, Polkadot, Litecoin, Polygon, Shiba Inu, Avalanche, Chainlink and Uniswap.
Live watchlist table
See the current price of every supported coin in your chosen fiat currency at a glance. Click any row to convert with that coin.
Inverse rate shown
Below the converter, the tool shows how much crypto 1 unit of your chosen fiat buys. Handy when you are pricing in the local currency.
Result formatting
Large values get thousands separators, small crypto amounts get enough decimal places to be useful, and the clipboard copy includes both the converted amount and the rate.
Rate limit handling
CoinGecko has a public rate limit. If it is hit, the tool tells you clearly and lets you refresh again a minute later instead of showing a blank page.
No trading account
This is a calculator. It does not connect to a wallet, does not hold funds, and does not trade. It just shows what a unit is worth right now.
What people use it for
Price a payment in local currency
A client pays in USDT but your bills are in PKR or NGN. Enter the amount and see the local value instantly.
Sanity-check an exchange rate
Before you swap on an exchange, check the mid-market rate here so you can tell how much spread the exchange is charging.
Track a portfolio in your own currency
Convert each holding to your local currency and total them up yourself. No sign-up, no import, no shared data.
Write a report or blog post
Get a current conversion for a case study or an article without installing a browser extension.
Budget a recurring payment
If you pay a subscription in crypto, see what one month costs in your local fiat at today’s rate.
Learn crypto values
New to crypto? Look up what one Bitcoin, one Ethereum or one Dogecoin is worth in your currency without signing up for an exchange.
Questions people ask
Where do the prices come from?
Prices come from the public CoinGecko API. When the page loads and when you click Refresh rates, your browser makes a direct request to api.coingecko.com asking for the current prices of the sixteen supported coins in the fiat currency you selected. No information about you is sent, only the coin list and currency code.
Does ToolDeck store my conversions?
No. The conversion is calculated in your browser. The only network call is to CoinGecko for the prices. ToolDeck does not log, store or proxy the request.
Why is my rate limit error showing?
CoinGecko applies a public rate limit to anonymous API calls. If you refresh many times in a row, or many users share the same source IP, the limit can be hit for a few minutes. Wait a minute and click Refresh rates again. The error message will tell you when the limit is the cause.
Are these rates the same as on an exchange?
CoinGecko aggregates spot prices across many exchanges, so the number here is a market average. The rate you get on a specific exchange, especially after fees and network costs, will be a little different. Use this for reference, not for settlement.
Can I convert crypto to crypto?
Not directly. The tool converts crypto to fiat and fiat to crypto by inverting the rate. If you want BTC to ETH, convert BTC to USD first, then convert the USD amount to ETH using the same table.
Which coins are supported?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, BNB, Solana, XRP, Cardano, Dogecoin, TRON, Polkadot, Litecoin, Polygon, Shiba Inu, Avalanche, Chainlink and Uniswap. All sixteen are pulled in a single CoinGecko call, so adding one to the display is not an extra request.
Which fiat currencies are supported?
USD, EUR, GBP, PKR, INR, JPY, CNY, AUD, CAD, CHF, AED, SAR, TRY, BRL, ZAR and NGN. Coverage is strongest for the first dozen. If a currency is not shown, the API likely does not return a price for it.
How current is the price?
CoinGecko refreshes its aggregate price feed roughly every one to two minutes for major coins. On the page, the timestamp under the converter shows when your browser last received a price. Click Refresh rates to pull the latest available value.
Is this financial advice?
No. This is a calculator that shows a live market rate. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Crypto prices are volatile and you are responsible for your own decisions.
Does it work offline?
Not for live prices. The page will load and show the layout, but the CoinGecko call needs a network connection. If you have previously visited the page, some browsers may serve a cached response briefly, but the rates will be stale.
Is it safe to use?
Yes. The tool has no login, no wallet connection, no password field and no server that could be breached. It only reads public price data from CoinGecko and shows it to you. There is nothing for us to store and nothing for us to leak.
Can I use this on mobile?
Yes. The layout works on phones. The converter, the refresh button and the watchlist table are all touch friendly. On a slow connection the initial price fetch may take a second or two.
Do you plan to add more coins?
Yes, if there is demand. The current sixteen cover most of the market cap. If a coin you need is missing, use the contact page and describe the use case. Coins that are widely requested will be added in a later update.
Can I embed this on my site?
Not currently. The tool is a page on ToolDeck, not an embeddable widget. If you need an embeddable widget, use the CoinGecko widget builder or link directly to this page.
Do I need a CoinGecko API key?
No. This tool uses the free public endpoint that does not require a key. The trade-off is the public rate limit, which the tool handles by showing a clear message when it is hit.
Can I use this for commercial work?
Yes. There are no restrictions on how you use the numbers. As always, verify with your exchange or bank before making a financial decision, and follow the CoinGecko terms if you redistribute their data at scale.
What data leaves your browser
This tool is unusual because it does make a network request: to api.coingecko.com, to fetch live prices. That request carries only the list of coin IDs and the fiat currency code you selected (for example bitcoin,ethereum,... and usd). It does not carry your name, your IP, your conversion amounts, or any identifier from ToolDeck. Your entered amounts are calculated locally and never leave the page. CoinGecko may log the request under its own privacy policy, which is outside our control. Read how we handle privacy.
