- Tick "Preserve log" and clear the list, so you start from an empty view.

- Look at the requests. You will see the page's own scripts and the PDF.js library files load from a CDN. You will not see a POST or PUT request carrying your PDF.
- Optional: after the PDF has opened, set the Network throttling to "Offline" and keep editing and saving. It still works, because nothing needs a server.

Can I extract pages from a scanned PDF?
Yes. If the PDF is a scan, the extracted pages will be images of the original pages. The text will not be selectable unless the original file had an OCR layer. You can use our OCR PDF tool to add a text layer.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, it works in modern mobile browsers like Safari and Chrome. You can tap page thumbnails to select them and save the result. For large documents, a laptop provides a smoother experience.
